The Phillies activated Lieberthal from the disabled list on Friday. Lieberthal, who needs 21 games to become the Phillies all-time leader for games caught, has been out since suffering a left hip strain against the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 5.

Analysis: Lieberthal was hitting .250 with no homers and nine RBI when he was injured. He was also on the disabled list for most of May with a left knee bruise.
