Jones was scratched from the lineup Wednesday for the second consecutive game because of patellar tendinitis in his left knee. Jones took batting practice and felt OK at the plate, but running in the outfield was a problem. He was available to pinch hit. Ryan Langerhans replaced Jones in center.
