Wood is expected to be out at least four weeks with a partial tear in his right rotator cuff. The Cubs' right-hander underwent an arthrogram at Northwest Memorial Hospital on Friday, revealing the tear. Treatment options include conservative treatment or possible arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder, but a final decision hasn't been made on which to pursue. "My gut feeling is saying no surgery and strengthen it," Wood said. "I've still got to get more opinions." (Updated 7/10/2006) Analysis: Wood underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder last August and began this season on the disabled list. The 29-year-old was 1-2 with a 4.12 ERA in four starts before going back on the DL June 9.
