Kennedy returned to the Angels' lineup on Tuesday, going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in a 4-3 win over the Boston Red Sox. The second baseman missed four games for charging the mound after being hit with a pitch from Texas Rangers reliever Scott Feldman on Aug. 16, starting a bench-clearing brawl. Kennedy didn't figure to see much playing time, anyway, against the Mariners, who were starting three left-handers against the Angels. (Updated 8/23/2006) Analysis: Kennedy is batting .256 with two homers and 41 RBIs for the Angels this season.
