The Tampa Bay Devil Rays gave up on Colome Thursday, releasing the hard-throwing right-hander following a rough spring and one regular-season outing. The promising but erratic hurler allowed 20 hits and 12 earned runs over 11 innings in camp, then walked a batter and gave up a run in one-third of an inning against Baltimore Wednesday.
