The Rockies placed Torrealba on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday, retroactive to March 24 with a strained right shoulder. Torrealba was obtained in a trade on Dec. 7 from Seattle, where he hit .234 with three homers and 15 RBIs in 76 games for the Mariners and San Francisco last season. (Updated 4/2/2006)
