The Devil Rays placed infielder Wigginton on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a broken bone in his left hand. Wigginton was injured when he was hit by a pitch from Shawn Chacon in the fourth inning of Saturday's 19-6 victory over the New York Yankees. He will see team orthopedist Dr. Koco Eaton on Monday for further evaluation.
