The Phillies optioned Condrey to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday so they could make room on the roster for left-hander Fabio Castro.

Analysis: Condrey went 1-2 with a 3.63 ERA in 16 games for Philadelphia, but was 0-2 with a 4.70 ERA in 11 games in June. In 15 1-3 innings, the 30-year-old right-hander allowed 23 hits and a .371 opponent batting average.
