Gonzalez was recalled from Triple-A Tucson to start Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. To make room on the roster, the Diamondbacks optioned right-hander Casey Daigle to Tucson. The 23-year-old hurler has dropped 10 consecutive decisions dating to 2004, when he was 0-9 in 10 starts, and hasn't won in the majors since beating San Francisco in relief on Sept. 7, 2003.
