The North County Times reported that Padres general manager Kevin Towers believes that Young has a 50 percent chance of starting his next scheduled turn in the rotation on Saturday against the Colorado Rockies. The right-hander left in the first inning of his last outing on Sunday with a strained muscle in his upper back.
