Pinto was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday when right-hander Brian Moehler was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Analysis: This is the second stint with the Marlins for Pinto, who yielded two hits and struck out three in four scoreless relief appearances spanning four innings between May 18-28. The 23-year-old left-hander went 7-2 with a 3.31 ERA in 14 starts for the Isotopes.
