The Los Angeles Angels placed Macier Izturis on the 15-day disabled list Monday and recalled Kendrick from Triple-A Salt Lake. One of the top hitting prospects in the game, Kendrick was batting 386 with eight doubles, 11 runs and 13 RBIs in 16 games for Salt Lake.
