The Seattle Mariners placed Lowe on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with tendinitis in his right elbow. The 23-year-old reliever made his major league debut on July 7 after getting promoted from Double-A San Antonio. He did not allow a run over his first 17 2-3 innings before giving up his first two runs in Thursday's 5-2 loss, and another run Saturday night on a homer by Maicer Izturis.
