Pena was recalled from Triple-A Tucson on Tuesday after Arizona first baseman Tony Clark was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder strain. Pena, a right-handed reliever, was 3-1 with seven saves and a 1.71 ERA at Triple-A Tucson. He has yet to pitch in the majors.
