Bryon Russell
Russell was waived by the Seattle SuperSonics Wednesday, less than one week after he was acquired from the Denver Nuggets in a four-team, nine-player trade. Russell never reported to the Sonics.

Analysis: Russell, a 13-year veteran, missed 53 games while with the Nuggets because of a cartilage tear in his right knee. He spent his first nine seasons with the Utah Jazz, then made stops with the Washington Wizards and Los Angeles Lakers before going to Denver in 2004.
