Aaron McKie
After considering an offer from the New Jersey Nets, McKie has decided to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, agreeing to a reported two-year, $5 million contract. The veteran guard was waived by the Philadelphia 76ers under the NBA's one-time amnesty provision and is still owed $19.5 million over the next three years from his former club. Last season, he averaged just 2.5 rebounds and a career-low 2.2 points in 68 games.

Analysis: With Chucky Atkins traded to the Washington Wizards, McKie is expected to step into the Lakers' starting lineup next season, teaming up with Kobe Bryant in the backcourt.
