Mateen Cleaves
Cleaves has been waived by the Seattle Sonics. The 28-year-old guard, who was the 14th overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft (Detroit), has appeared in 19 games this season, averaging 3.4 points and 1.7 assists in 9.3 minutes per contest.

Analysis: Cleaves was involved in the Sonics' rotation early in the season, but since the beginning of December, his action has dwindled, failing to log more than eight minutes in a game over that span. In eight of those contests, he did not make it off the bench at all.
