| Smith sat out the final practice of Carolina Panthers training camp Monday due to his strained left hamstring. The Panthers wide receiver rode a stationary bike and did agility drills on the side of the field as the team praticed. He was injured on July 29, the first day of training camp. |

| Analysis: Smith returned to practice last week, but sat out Saturday's 17-10 exhibition win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He led the NFL with 103 receptions for 1,563 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. |
