Jason Allison
Allison underwent surgery to repair a broken bone in his left hand, the Maple Leafs said Thursday. The 30-year-old Toronto center will miss the rest of the season as his recovery will take roughly six weeks.

Analysis: Allison finished his first campaign with the Leafs with 17 goals and 43 assists in 66 games. Not bad numbers, but far below the career-high 36 goals and 59 assists he garnered with Boston in 2000-01.
