Martin Biron
Biron accepted the Sabres' one-year qualifying offer Thursday despite still seeking a trade from the club. The 28-year-old goaltender becomes Buffalo's only goalie under contract and will be paid $2.1 million this season.

Analysis: Biron played in 35 games last season for the Sabres, finishing with a 21-8-3 mark and a 2.89 goals-against average. He reeled off a franchise-record 13 straight victories when starter Ryan Miller was sidelined with a thumb injury.
