Janne Niinimaa
Niinimaa was activated from injured reserve by the Stars on Monday. The 30-year-old Dallas defenseman missed the last seven games with a sore ankle.

Analysis: Niinimaa has played in a total of 46 games this season, posting one goal and 10 assists with 70 penalty minutes. The Stars acquired Niinimaa, a two-time member of the Finnish Olympic team and a 2001 NHL All-Star, from the New York Islanders on Jan. 10 for defenseman John Erskine and a swap of draft picks.
