Alex Tanguay
Tanguay signed a three-year, $15.75 million deal with the Calgary Flames on Wednesday after being acquired by the team in a draft-day deal on June 24. The 26-year-old forward will make $5 million next season, $5.375 million in 2007-08 and $5.375 in 2008-09. He had 29 goals and 49 assists in 71 games for Colorado last season while earning $3.23 million.

Analysis: Tanguay has 137 goals and 263 assists in 450 career games spanning six seasons, all with the Avalanche. He will likely move from the wing to center and play on a line with Calgary captain Jarome Iginla.
