Tomas Kaberle
The Toronto Maple Leafs signed defenseman Kaberle to a five-year contract extension through the 2010-11 season. The terms of the agreement were not immediately disclosed.

Analysis: The 27-year-old ranks fifth among defensemen in scoring with six goals and 37 assists in 56 games. Kaberle has 47 career goals and 220 assists since getting drafted in the 1996 draft.
