Paul Mara
Mara was acquired by Boston on Monday from Phoenix in exchange for Nick Boynton. Mara, a 26-year-old defenseman, agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Bruins. "He plays a lot of minutes in all situations and his style of play fits today's game," said Bruins interim general manager Jeff Gorton, whose team also swapped draft picks with Phoenix.

Analysis: Mara had 15 goals and 32 assists for the Coyotes in 78 games last season. During his career, Mara has totaled 52 goals and 178 assists in 424 games.
