Miikka Kiprusoff
Kiprusoff won the Vezina Trophy for the NHL's best goaltender on Thursday, the first Vezina of his career. The Calgary netminder also finished third in the MVP voting behind San Jose's Joe Thornton and Pittsburgh's Jaromir Jagr after a season in which he went 42-20-11 with a 2.07 goals-against average and .923 save percentage.

Analysis: Kiprusoff led the league in goals-against average and shutouts (10), and was third in save percentage. After advancing to the Stanley Cup finals in 2004, the Flames were upset by Anaheim in the first round this season.
