Klesla signed a four-year contract with Columbus after setting career highs with six goals and 13 assists this season with the Blue Jackets. The franchise's first draft pick in 2000, the 24-year-old defenseman was a restricted free agent, but is considered a cornerstone of an improving Columbus team.
