Kurtis Foster
Minnesota re-signed Foster to a one-year contract on Wednesday. The 24-year-old led all Wild defensemen with 28 points this season. He had 10 goals and 18 assists in 58 games after being recalled from the AHL in November. His 10 goals tied for second among NHL rookie defensemen.

Analysis: The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Foster set a Minnesota record by becoming the first player to score twice in his debut, on Nov. 19 against Nashville.
