Scott Clemmensen
Clemmensen will make his first start in net for New Jersey this weekend, as the Devils play on back-to-back nights. Devils coach Larry Robinson said the 28-year-old rookie is expected to play either on Friday at home against Buffalo or in Boston on Saturday.

Analysis: Clemmensen will play in place of starting goalie Martin Brodeur, who is off to a less-than-stellar start in the early going of the new season. Clemmensen, who has made four career starts and has appeared in seven NHL games, has worked just one period this season. He allowed a goal on six shots against Carolina on October 15.
