Tim Thomas
Thomas signed a three-year contract extension with the Boston Bruins on Saturday. Terms of the 31-year-old goalie's deal were not disclosed. Thomas signed one-year contract with Boston in September. He played 26 games for the Bruins' AHL affiliate in Providence, R.I., before getting called up on Jan. 10 when Hannu Toivonen hurt his ankle.
