Anton Babchuk
Babchuk was traded to the Hurricanes Friday from the Blackhawks in exchange for defenseman Danny Richmond and a fourth-round pick in the 2007 entry draft. Babchuk, a 21-year-old defenseman, was Chicago's first-round pick in the 2002 draft.
