While the injury-riddled Philadelphia Flyers regained the services of defenseman Eric Desjardins for Wednesday's 5-2 win over the New York Islanders, Nedved left the game when he aggravated a groin injury. His status for the Flyers' final two games before the Olympic break -- Friday against Washington and Saturday in Ottawa -- hasn't been determined.

Analysis: Nedved was acquired from Phoenix less than three weeks ago. He has a goal and four assists in eight games for Philadelphia. He had two goals and nine assists in 25 games with the Coyotes.
