Darryl Sydor
Sydor returned to the Dallas Stars on Sunday when he was acquired from the Lightning for a draft pick. Sydor came back to Dallas on the same day the Stars lost free agent center Jason Arnott, who signed a five-year contract with Nashville. Arnott had a career-high 76 points last season.

Analysis: Tampa Bay will receive a fourth-round pick in the 2008 draft for Sydor, who played in 575 games with Dallas from 1995-2003 when he had 62 goals and 238 assists -- both third in franchise history for defensemen. He was part of the Stanley Cup champion team in 1999 and was an All-Star in 1998 and 1999. Sydor also was on Tampa Bay's Stanley Cup champion team in 2004. He has 89 goals and 361 assists in 1,023 career games.
